About me
Dermatologist in Vienna — from medical school at the Medical University of Vienna to the practice in Döbling.
Dr. Mahitab Khalifa-Paruch is a specialist in dermatology and venereology and a dermatologist in Vienna. Born and raised in Vienna, she attended kindergarten, primary school, and secondary school (Gymnasium) in the city and completed her Matura at age 17 with highest distinction (summa cum laude).
From 2004 to 2010 she studied medicine at the Medical University of Vienna (MUW) — graduating at age 23. Outstanding academic performance earned her a scholarship for a clinical clerkship (Famulatur) at Harvard University in the USA — an award with strict selection criteria.
After her internship year (Turnus) at Universitätsklinikum St. Pölten , she began specialty training as a dermatologist at Vienna General Hospital (AKH Wien) and completed it at the Donauspital ( Klinik Donaustadt ). During training she briefly deepened her skills in Germany in dermatosurgery and psoriasis treatment. In 2019 she became a board-certified specialist in dermatology and venereology.
She was then recruited to Klinik Ottakring / Klinik Hietzing, where she was appointed senior physician (Oberärztin). That same year, 2019, she opened her first private (Wahlarzt) practice opposite Klinik Ottakring and began developing her skincare product line.
In the years that followed she had her two children. During that period she completed a clinical observership at UCLA in Los Angeles, further developed the product line with pharmacists, and launched it in Austria as well as on the U.S. market. After returning to Vienna she was entrusted with leading the pediatric dermatology outpatient clinic at Klinik Donaustadt .
Today she cares for adults and children at her expanded practice in Vienna–Döbling — and is concurrently pursuing her PhD.
